8. Launch cutover instances
Launch cutover instances
The following tasks will migrate all the servers in Wave 1 and apply the Cutover subnet and security groups specified in the intake form.
1. On the migration factory console, and select Waves on the left hand side.
2. Select wave 1, and click Actions button, then select Migration, then select MGN
3. Select Launch Cutover Instances Action, select the account Id, and select wave 1.
4. Click Submit to initiate the launch of the instances into the live subnets and with live security groups.
5. After some time the test will return a success message.
6. The status of the servers will be updated in Migration Factory. The current migration status should be listed on the screen and show Cutover instance launched.
